The annual celebration of Krishna’s appearance on earth is known as Janmashtami. One of the most popular spiritual festivals is celebrated all over the world. At midnight on Ashtami, the eighth day following the full moon in the Vedic calendar, Krishna’s “birth,” or janma, took place. This day is very auspicious . He is the Supreme Person unborn, Kṛṣṇa takes birth but His birth is not like ours . When Kṛṣṇa appeared, He did not come out or did not come out from the womb of Devakī. He first of all appeared And then He became a small child on the lap. Therefore Kṛṣṇa’s birth is transcendental. Our birth is by force, by the laws of nature. He’s not under the laws of nature. The laws of nature works under Him .
