This Diwali, as we light lamps to remove darkness from our homes, let us also light the lamp of compassion by serving the gentle cows — the beloved of Lord Krishna
On the auspicious occasion of Diwali, we not only light lamps in our homes but also in our hearts — by offering love and gratitude to Gomata, our divine mother.
In Vedic tradition, the cow is considered sacred because she selflessly provides for everyone — giving milk, ghee, curd, dung, and urine, all of which are used for health, agriculture, and worship.
Performing Go Puja on Diwali is a way to thank Gomata for her endless service and to invite divine blessings into our lives. Just as we worship Goddess Lakshmi on this day for prosperity, worshipping Gomata pleases both Lord Krishna and Mother Lakshmi, bringing peace, health, and abundance.
Even if you cannot perform Go Puja personally, you can still take part by offering Go Seva — feeding, garlanding, or donating for the care of cows. This simple act of devotion removes negativity, purifies the heart, and brings spiritual joy.
Let’s celebrate a truly divine Diwali — by lighting the lamp of love through Go Puja and Go Seva. 🪔🐄💛
