Narasimha Chaturdashi is the divine appearance day of Lord Narasimha, the fierce half-man, half-lion form of Lord Vishnu.
He appeared to protect His pure devotee Prahlad and to destroy the demon king Hiranyakashipu, who was tormenting everyone and claimed to be God.
On this powerful day, Lord Narasimha emerged from a pillar—neither inside nor outside, neither day nor night—and tore the demon apart, proving that no one can harm the devotee of the Lord.
This festival reminds us that God protects in unimaginable ways when faith is strong.
