About Us!
Welcome to ISKCON Goshala, HBR Layout, Bengaluru – a sanctuary dedicated to cow protection (go seva) and preserving India’s timeless tradition of serving and honoring cows. Situated within the serene campus of Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Giridhari Mandir, our goshala is home to over 30 cows, calves, and bulls, lovingly cared for with proper food, shelter, and medical attention.
In the Vedic culture, the cow is revered as a mother (Gomata), and serving her is considered one of the greatest acts of devotion. At ISKCON Goshala, our mission is to provide a safe and nurturing environment where cows are not exploited but cherished as divine beings. Visitors can personally experience cow feeding, cow cuddling, and go seva, connecting deeply with these gentle animals while learning about the importance of cow protection in Bangalore.
We also encourage devotees and well-wishers to participate in cow adoption programs – monthly, yearly, or lifetime – where your support directly contributes to the care and well-being of a cow. By adopting or supporting a cow, you not only protect her but also receive immense spiritual blessings, as Lord Krishna Himself is known as Govinda – the protector of cows.
More than a shelter, ISKCON Goshala is a place of learning, devotion, and harmony with nature. We strive to spread awareness about the ecological, spiritual, and social benefits of cow seva. Every visitor, volunteer, and donor becomes part of a larger movement to revive the sacred bond between humans and cows.
🌸 Visit ISKCON Goshala in Bangalore today and experience the joy of serving Gomata. 🌸
Because when we protect cows, we protect dharma, nature, and the future of our society.
